DJ Soo - Waitin' Close to Your Limbs

I ALWAYS FELT THAT THE CURE - MIXED UP ALBUM WAS A LITTLE AHEAD OF IT'S TIME. SURE THE EMO WHINE OF ROBERT SMITH WAS A BIT OF AN ACQUIRED TASTE, BUT I NEVER THOUGHT THROWING SOME FUNKY ELECTRONIC BEATS UNDER THE SONGS WOULD GIVE IT *THAT* MUCH MORE POIGNANCY (I CAN'T TELL YOU THE AMOUNT OF TIMES I ANGSTED OVER SOME GIRL IN HIGH SCHOOL LISTENING TO THE "PICTURES OF YOU" REMIX - THE SPARSENESS AND MINIMALISM OF THAT ELECTRONIC BASSLINE COMBINED WITH THE LEAD GUITAR LINE ADD SO MUCH MORE TO THE TRACK).

WITH THAT BEING SAID, I CAME UP WITH THIS MIX OF CUTTY RANKS, YIN YANG TWINS, AND THE ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE REMIX OF CLOSE TO YOU FOR A CERTAIN 4-TURNTABLE MIXTAPE I MADE WITH WOOD NOTING THAT THE KEYS MATCHED PERFECTLY IN THE MIX. A LITTLE WHILE LATER, I RE-EDITED IT ALL INTO A STANDALONE TRACK.
